Strike Force Energy Review – What is this stuff?

Strike Force Energy

Strike Force Energy is a Veteran owned and operated company and produces their signature energy packets in the USA.

Co-founded by a Navy SEAL and a favorite of military, police, and first responders.  Everyone I know that has tried it loved it – I had to try this stuff!

What is it?

The actual product is a liquid, most commonly sold in packs of 10 or single small portion “cartridges” (0.2ml small packets) about the size of a stick of gum, but it also available in 750ml pump bottles for heavy-duty users!  There are four main flavors: Original (cherry),  Orange,  Lemon, and Grape. There was a coffee flavor, but it sold out before I was able to try it. Prices are usually between $1 and $2 per packet, depending on quantity.

Strike Force Energy packets

Strike Force is so easy to carry and use.  I keep a couple packets in my work and gym bags, and are now always part of my snack pack when I go for a Ruck.  The packets stay sealed and take up no room.  To use, just tear and dump a packet in to 0.5 to 1L of water and shake – that’s it, instant energy drink!  Many people mix Strike Force Energy into La Croix. Protein shakes, or other drinks – the Strike Force Instagram is always fun for finding new ways to mix it up.

One of the best things about Strike force is that the energy packets are not full of sugar or other junk.  They are very transparent about their ingredients and nutritional content.  There is a reasonable amount of caffeine, as you would expect, but at 160mg, it is no more than two cups of coffee or so.  By not over doing the caffeine and mixing in taurine and B vitamins, the product provides sustained energy without jitters or a crash feeling after it wears off.

How is it?

I admit, I am not a huge energy drink fan.  I do love coffee, but the super sweet, artificial taste and scary chemical ingredients of most energy drinks keep me away.  As I mentioned, friends all recommended Strike Force, and a few mix it in with their water for the gym or a run.

I have to say – I like it!  The flavors are concentrated and can be strong to some, especially if you mix it in too little water.  I like to pour a packet into my 1L Naglene bottle filled with water.  This gives you a nice, light flavor.  I have used it several times as a pick me up before hitting the gym and the extra energy did help!  I have also found it to be easier on my gut than multiple cups of coffee (nice bonus).  Recently, I mixed it in my water bottle for a long climb/hike.  It worked great for energy and never tasted heavy or too strong. Overall, the Strike Force Energy worked great!  I have and will buy more to keep on hand.  I haven’t tried the Orange in a Hefeweizen yet.  Yet.   I have some random dislike of grape flavor, so I cannot tell you how that tastes, but Original (cherry) is probably my favorite, with Orange and Lemon tied for a close second.

By the way – I was not sent this product to write a friendly review.  I have bought and paid for each packet of Strike Force Energy like everyone else – and just ordered more!
